On the economy, you stated the collapse that started on Rutabaga hadn't bottomed out yet and President Trump had to ride it out. Could you explain this part a little further? The CR that passed will some good come out of it or should the house have tried harder to get a budget done or let the dems shut down the government down?

The CR won't have much impact. The problem is too many businesses were closed under Rutabaga and too many people were laid off. That is rapidly being reversed: just yesterday a major LNG port facility was green it for the Gulf Coast. Production is moving back here fast. The UAE said it would invest $1.6 trillion over 10 years, bringing the total commitments under Trump to nearly $10 trillion. But those all have to get their permits, let contracts, etc. It will be about 6 months till we see a big turnaround.

Thank you for the explanation I greatly appreciate it. I guess I was somewhat confused by what the NY index, Atlanta index and others were all saying about the economy.
