Re "Supposedly 66% of indies “view Trump unfavorably.” This is where I do not believe this poll: maybe in national numbers, this is true, but in key rust belt areas, Trump is the only one who can appeal to most working-class indies." I agree, based on the working-class folks among whom I live (in Florida) and who were his earliest supporters in 2015-6. What do you make of his comment that the stolen 2020 election justifies going outside constitutional limits on redress, though? I see lots of former supporters taken aback, including me.
