Today the False Prophet of the Apocalypse is already among us. At least, the World Economic Forum says he’s the “prophet,” and since he’s entirely wrong, he is indeed the False Prophet. No wonder Bill Gates likes him. His name is Noah Yuval Harari.
In his book Sapiens, Harari does as good a job as any in showing why evolution is wrong, and he, in particular, ain’t so bright.
Trying to argue that there is no justice in history, Harari says of the Great Declaration
“Despite its proclamation of the equality o f all men, the imagined order established by the Americans in 1776 also established a hierarchy., [All orders do, even the imagined evolutionary order]. It created a hierarchy between men, who benefited from it, and women, whom it left disempowered. It created a hierarchy between whites, who enjoyed liberty, and blacks and Indians, who were considered humans of a lesser type and therefore did not share in the equal rights of men. Many of those who signed teh Declaration of Independence were slaveholders. They did not release their slaves upon signing . . . .[because] In their view, the rights of men had little to do with Negroes.”
This from a guy who just spent the previous 130 pages telling everybody that men themselves were subhumans who just happened to outlast Neathderthals and other "sapien” like creatures.
The lies and compounding of lies packed in this single paragraph are both astounding and totally evil, befitting of a False Prophet preparing the way for the Antichrist, who apparently can’t be far behind. I can already smell him.
First, the very fact that the rights were imagined as this toadstool admits means that they are real, that they exist in the spiritual world, and that they can and will be made manifest. Someone just a tad smarter than the False Prophet wrote long before him that “Faith is the SUBSTANCE of things HOPED FOR [anticipated, expected} . . . .(Hebrews 11: 1-6).” Faith is the EVIDENCE of things not seen—-but they exist nonetheless in another world.
Second, you’d think with all his education, Harari could read. Nowhere in the Constitution are the words “slave” or “slavery” mentioned. Rather the term “unfree PERSON” is used, with descriptions of people/persons bound by conditions of labor—-not by lack of humanity or some other status that Harari claims they believed in. Quite the contrary, the Founders had a far higher view of human nature when it came to slaves than Harari does when it comes to modern humans, whom he sees as stupid and redundant. He thinks the agricultural revolution was a step backward from hunter/forager societies. Course, if we still had those now, he’d be whining that all the animals are being hunted to extinction.
The Declaration of Independence was an astounding document in ways Harari cannot even fathom, for it created a realization of equality—-for the first time in human history, and it only was left to us to make manifest that which we imagined. Or, that faith in human equality was the EVIDENCE of a reality of that equality yet to actually manifest iself . . . but no less real. A driver’s license is not a person, but it is evidence of a very real person who exists.
By discounting God, Harari wants to move the foundational point of debate. Nope. To quote President George H.W. Bush, “Wouldn’t be prudent.” We Christians must stand firm that the Word is real, and it is phony false prophets like Harari and his new world order demonic goblins that we are commanded to attack, for the ‘Gates of Hell cannot prevail against you.” Gates are to keep us out. We’re comin’ in, Noah.
