“Follow the science,” they said. Except that really wasn’t what they meant.
True science always establishes a hypothesis—-not a fact—-first, then seeks to confirm it as a fact. Well, except real scientists approach things from the opposite direction, namely that they try to disprove their thesis seven ways from Sunday. If they are unsuccessful, only then would they say that for now what they have discovered is a “fact.”
The China Virus response has been just the opposite. From the hysterical early estimates that hundreds of millions would die, to rapid consensus that a vaccine would be needed to stop the spread, the “scientific” response was to not examine alternative treatments or to not question the infection numbers. Only yesterday did we see the first real crack in this rock-headed thinking in Italy, where the death numbers were reduced by 97% by changing the reporting from those who died “with” the China Virus to those who died “of” the virus. A big difference.
But for the most part, the elites cannot retreat on this issue, because, you see, it’s not about vaxxes or the China Virus. Ultimately, this is about “trusting the science” when it comes to control and to their whackadoodle climate policies.
One of the biggest face-plants of all time has been the “global warming/climate change” agenda. It simply has not caught on with a majority of Americans—and really, we’re all that matter because while Europe can be manipulated some, outside of India and China, no one else generates enough carbon-based energy to be of any significance. The climate-change hoaxers tried for almost 20 years to use the media to spread horror stories about coastlines being under water by now (hasn’t happened, anywhere); about the ice caps melting (Antarctica has actually increased its ice sheet); and so on. No one was “trusting” the Climate Hoax Science.
Something else was needed.
Enter the China Virus. With this, the elites and climateopaths had their tool to insist that we not believe our own eyes, but rather models that no one can prove wrong for another 30 years—by which time the Greedo Thunderbergers and the Occasional Cortexes would have instituted their global control tyranny. The China Virus became a proxy for both the final establishment of “science” as the arbiter of how people should behave, and the final push the climateopaths needed to lock in their agenda.
Most of all, the vaxiopaths cannot utter those three words every scientist must say at some point in his life: “I was wrong.”
Nothing makes this refusal to admit the obvious more clear than the Australian minister who two days ago said that the vax rates in most of their provinces were incredibly high, yet China Virus cases were rising. How could that be? At some point the obvious must be considered: the vaxxes don’t work, and even worse, they could be actually contributing to the transmission or strength of the virus.
Any scientist worth his salt would have already said as much and demanded vaxed vs. unvaxxed double blind studies, but nooooooo! They don’t dare find proof they were wrong because it would explode the foundation of everything they sold us for the past two years.
And as for Donald Trump’s role in this, he reacted like any leader—-indeed, every leader except those in Sweden—-would. He tried to find a solution. It simply wasn’t in his personal makeup to do nothing and allow natural immunity to kill the disease. Politically, the hype of the “hundreds of millions dead” pushed him to rely on the evil Dr. Fallacy. Then Mike Pence, running the task force to deal with the virus, convinced him via the “federalism” argument that letting the states run their anti-Covid policies was the best recourse. In fact (as Pence likely knew) this put all the authority in the hands of Dr. Fallacy, because no state had the medical/scientific wherewithal to resist the “recommendations” of the Center for Disease Control or the National Institute of Health. In short, Trump let his can-do business personality align with the vax, while Pence manipulated him into handing the actual management of the crisis over to Dr. Fallacy—-all in the name of “states’ rights.” It was a Houdini-like performance, with the same final results as for poor Harry.
So don’t look for any of these clatterbottoms to ever say “I was wrong,” no matter how much the evidence piles up. It ain’t in their DNA, and it certainly doesn’t advance the “trust the science” agenda of the climateopaths.
