How Low Can Joe Go?

Every season, a different pollster seems to emerge with the Secret Formula. In 1994, only Scott Rasmussen, then of Rasmussen polling, captured the “Contract With America” wave in the House. Everyone else missed it.
In 2000, John Zogby came out of nowhere to correctly measure George W. Bush’s impending victory. But Zogby faded in the Iraq War. Then, in the Obama years, Richard Baris of People’s Pundit Daily came on the scene with ultra-accurate polls. Baris and Trafalgar were the only pollsters who had Donald Trump winning Pennsylvania and Michigan in 2016! Baris later told me that his polling showed Trump would win Wisconsin, but “I didn’t believe my own polling.” (Much of this story is told in my book How Trump Won with Breitbart’s Joel Pollak, which, by the way, we wrote before the election! Won, as in past tense.)
In 2020, Baris never had Trump with a national lead, and had Pennsylvania too close to call with Arizona within the margin of error.
This cycle, so far, Civiqs had the Demented Pervert hitting 39% back in September 2021 and the Rutabaga has not escaped the 30s since. But on May 11, Civiqs saw Biteme hit his all-time low of 34%. At about the same time, Monmouth, NBC/Youguv, and Quinnipiac all had Biteme in the 30s. Today, that company’s lowest rating so far and a seventh pollster having him in the 30s.AP has Biteme at 39%, it’s lowest ever for him.
So Civiqs appears to be a “leading indicator” as they say in the economics business. I can’t find it now, but at the time, I saw a sixth poll having the Rutabaga in the 30s. Baris, in his last poll about a month ago, had Biteme just over 40%.
So where does that put the Rutabaga historically? I’m pretty sure you can guess the lowest ranked presidents. Here are Gallup's ratings, done at the end of the presidents’ terms:
*As you might expect, Richard Nixon finished with the lowest all time ranking of 24%.
*Harry Truman wasn’t much better at 32%.
*Then you get three presidents at 34%—-Jesus Carter, W, and Trump. Remember Trump had barely been above 50 in any polls at any time, and when he left, it was after a year of the China Virus and after all the negative press regarding the Patriot Day (January 6) protests. Still, even with 93% unfavorable press and the China Virus, the worst the Hoax News media could do was get Trump in a tie with Jesus Carter.
This was kind of stunning: Gerald Ford, who lost to Carter, left with a favorability of 53%. This goes to show you that these approval polls may not mean all that much when it comes to voting in the real polls.
Still, this means Biteme is already tied with W, Carter, and Trump and with his Civiqs 34% is on his way to Truman territory.
Remember, we don’t want this guy crashing like an asteroid. We WANT him on that wall, we NEED him on that wall.
We need a slow descent to hell like a plane out of fuel and controls stuck. He should hit Truman territory by the end of this year, Nixonville in 2023. Then we can finish off the evil DemoKKKrat Party forever.
