Exciting stuff in the coming year

Hi all. Let me take a break from the idiocies of the Rutabega, the waterfall of meaningless numbers of China Virus cases from the CDC, and the latest pedo scandal at CNN and mention some upcoming events or offers for 2022.

Also coming up this year is the release of my latest book, Dragonslayers: Six Presidents and their War with the Swamp. I take a look at Lincoln & his battle with the Slave Swamp, Grover Cleveland and his battle with the Spoils Swamp, TR and his fight with the Trust Swamp, JFK and his struggle with the CIA Swamp, Reagan and his fight with the Bureaucracy Swamp, and of course Trump and his problems with the Deep State Swamp. Some won, some lost, some had varying degrees of success. But the story goes on as the Swamp is still here!

Starting in March, as you will see on the Wild World of History website, I will be visiting many cities with Homeschool Conventions, including Greenville, SC; St. Louis/St. Charles, MO; Dallas, TX; Cincinnati, OH; Austin, TX; Orlando, FL; and Ontario, CA. There might be an opportunity for me to meet some of you.

Finally, we plan something really great for Wild World of History this year. First, we will continue weekly Wild Wednesday Webcasts: the next two are, on Jan. 5, “Six of the Worst Decisions in History, from Pilate to Hitler,” and a week later on Jan. 12, “God and the Americans: A Religious History of the United States.” And remember, in the Q&A you aren’t limited to my topic of the week. You can ask about politics, economics, or rock and roll—-my three areas of specialization!

But perhaps the best of all is the new “MASTER CLASS” series we film in February. I will be teaching an in-depth, college-level master class in both U.S. and World History, with detailed examinations of documents such as the Declaration of Independence, the Land Ordinance of 1785, the Bretton-Woods Agreement, or Obama’s Cairo Speech at various points in the classes, as well as deep analysis of the events & people of the day. Hillsdale? Bwa! You won’t get a better class in U.S. or World History than the one we have planned.

And, it seems likely that pretty soon this guy will be winning another ring. Good thing he has great taste in history books.

Course, the same is true for this fellow and his appreciation of great political commentary.
