Today John “Sloth” Durham failed in his second case to obtain a conviction, this time of a low-level Clinton lawyer named Michael Sussmann. The result was a foregone conclusion to most of us. Durham filed the charge in D.C., not in Virginia, where he ended up with a jury of Clintonoids, including family friends of Michael Sussmann. He allowed on record the claim that the FBI was bamboozled by Sussmann and plotters, instead of, as was actually the case, part of the seditious conspiracy.
Most of all, Durham never ever painted a picture of a grand conspiracy that reached into the highest levels of government. By trying to nickel and dime the lower level minnows, he never had a chance to go after the big fish.
That is, if that was his intent.
The “errors” he made—-which could more easily be explained as deliberate moves to protect the FBI and the insiders—-involved taking almost three years to even bring low level charges, not moving for a change of venue, not striking ridiculously biased jurors, and failing to flip Clinesmith. If these weren’t deliberate, then they reflected an utterly incompetent prosecutor.
By failing to ever create a spine of political conspiracy and corruption, Durham ensured that we would see remarks such as those of one juror who said that there were bigger issues out there and wondered why the charges were brought. The juror may be a Clintonoid, but isn’t wrong. The jury was never given a reason to think otherwise.
In my view, Durham is finished. There is still a case pending against Igor Dachenko, and I expect this will go the same way as Sussmann. As Robert Barnes of Barnes Law argues, as long as we have federal courts in D.C., they will forever be protecting the Swamp.
I wish I had better news.

Once again Robert Mueller has Durham white wash over the dirt. https://twitter.com/RepMattGaetz/status/1531803761324310528?s=20&t=YxF8vcnnR4hK2RRvdbLFow
Hard to know what is/was in Durham's heart. Time will tell; unwilling or inept. There was much sworn testimony we learned during the trial which will not go away. Sussman may be subject to disbarment, for instance. Again, time will tell whether just another Timid Tommy or In-the-Tank Teddy.
