Degringolade today, revival tomorrow
The goblins are shooting their wad. But hell's comin', and we're comin' with it.
You can look in any direction and say “America is in decline.” As Paul Johnson wrote of the 1930s, it is a period of degringolade or rapid collapse. But rejoice, because the time is almost here when the Rutabaga’s Crazy Van literally runs out of gas and the revival begins
.Our battle is not just with the DemoKKKrats, though they are the immediate enemy—-who are backed 100% by demonic forces with whom we really struggle. No, the contest involves more than anything the Deep State, the Swamp, the “administrative state.” In my recent book Dragonslayers, I trace the origins and course of the Swamp. Lincoln fought the Slave Swamp, but in the process he had to utilize the burgeoning federal government and its offices and its bureaus. After the assassination of James Garield by a Swamp creature, Charles Guiteau, Chester Arthur took over the war against the Spoils Swamp. But he had Bright’s Disease and could not finish the fight. It was left to Grover Cleveland, who whacked off at least one of the hydra’s heads, culminating in the Pendleton Act that took jobs out of the hands of presidents and put it under the Civil Service.
From there, Theodore Roosevelt took on the Trust Swamp out of an overriding concern that if he did not, a socialist revolution would sweep away all American business. Perhaps, perhaps not. But he left out one major industry—-the media.
By the time Ronald Reagan took office, even with a commitment to reducing the size of government, he found other demands required he put swamp-draining on hold. Donald Trump inherited a Swamp that was massively more powerful than he expected. Thinking he could deal with the K-Street lobbyists, Trump soon found that his real enemies (besides, obviously the Hoax News Media) were in the FBI, DOJ, and CIA.
He figured it out, if too late to save his reelection from a fraud. But there are signs that he has learned.
First, if Steve Bannon is to be believed, the selections of Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh, and Amy Coney Barrett were primarily made based on their perspective on the Chevron case. They were chosen, he maintained, primarily for their willingness to take on the Deep State/administrative state. Have we not seen this? In a “term for the ages” as one writer put it, the Supreme Court has dealt a significant blow to the bureaucracy in the West Virginia v. EPA case. That came on the heels of a lesser noticed case from the Fifth Circuit, Jarkesy v. SEC which had a similar message: administrative state, you have overstepped your bounds.
Second, although the polls have been bouncing around a little, recent polling by Rasmussen and others has shown eight- to ten-point leads for the GOP in the November elections. The Rutabaga is now down to an average of 36% with some pollsters such as Civiqs having him hovering at 30%, even dipping into the 20s! In other words, the GOP has gained ground since the Dobbs decision that would supposedly hurt Republicans. It didn’t.
Newt Gingrich has predicted a 1920s level blowout, including gaining a number of senate seats. Even if that fails to transpire, merely a net gain of two Senate seats (with the “flip” of Alaska from RINO to MAGA with Kelly Tshibaka defeating Lisa MurCowSki) drastically transforms the actual control of the Senate away from Minion Romney, Susan “Tom” Collins and of course the DemoKKKrats.
That sets the stage for the real revival, when Trump crushes Biteme or any other spoogepickle the leftists throw in his path. That’s good news, but it won’t help to have Trump back, even with a GOP Senate and House, if he doesn’t return with fire, brimstone, and a plan.
And this week, we have seen that indeed Trump is coming with a plan. And hell’s comin’ with him. The DemoKKKrat mouthpiece, Axios, was all apoplectic that Trump plans a massive reorganization and downsizing of government. Using something called "Schedule F," which designates permanent government officials as political appointees, subjecting them to being fired or put on temporary assignments. This in essence returns us in some ways to pre-Cleveland status.
In addition, the new Trump team has identified thousands of MAGA candidates for mid-level jobs—something that Trump had failed to do in his first term. When combined with the blows dealt by the courts, the crop is ripe for a harvest by a restored Trump, seasoned by his first encounter with the Deep State.
The Lord said He would redeem the time. Despite a Biteme administration, the resistance has grown, sharpened, and galvanized. The courts have been the leading edge of this blade, but the remainder of this battle axe follows.
Just my opinion, I don’t think anything can stop it. God help those gagglepaddles when it hits, because it will truly be Biblical.

In hindsight it's going to be a bit of a blessing that DJT had 4 years away to reflect on how to approach things differently.
Couldn't have said it better.
