China Virus Thoughts
How the DemoKKKrats missed their Silver Bullet against Trump; What dogs show us about the
After stealing the 2020 election, DemoKKKrats knew they had a major problem. Deep in the bowels of the DemoKKKrat and globalist machines, they may have secretly congratulated themselves on pulling off the theft of the 21st century, but they also recognized that Donald Trump had gotten at least 74 million votes and almost certainly far more than that which were deleted or changed by hundreds of software implants.
More important, they understood that the Make America Great Again (MAGA) movement had actually gained momentum and credibility despite everything they tried to do to taint it or minimize it. Trump’s popularity was not dimmed except among the handful of hangers-on that had used him for their own political gain. Over the next two years, he would further prove that through his massive rallies and his unmatched fundraising abilities. Despite two years of non-stop criminal investigations that came to naught, civil actions against him that proved unfruitful, and congressional hearings by the sham Patriot Day J6 committee, Trump stood unscathed.
And throughout, the DemoKKKrats were sitting on the one weapon that could possibly have diluted enough of Trump’s support to make him vulnerable in 2024: his role in the China Virus vaxxes.
As a historian, I fully understand Trump’s decision to develop and promote a vax as the solution to the China Virus. First, whether true or not (increasingly it is being shown the claims were completely untrue), virtually every medical authority in the world had hysterically warned that the China Virus would be the equivalent of the Black Death, killing 20 million in the U.S. alone. Although we now know they mostly lied to him, Trump’s own medical advisors, especially the evil Dr. Fallacy, continued to pump the megadeath story to him.
I have discussed here at other times how, I believe, Trump was maneuvered by Vice President Mike Pence and his chief of staff into using a “federalism” approach that seemed both benign and constitutional. In reality, this returned virtually all power back to Dr. Fallacy. But at the time, I do not know of one single anti-vax source who said returning authority over the China Virus to the states would enhance Dr. Fallacy’s power. In short, it seemed reasonable.
Trump, a businessman, looked at problems as needing solutions. It was not in his nature to just let a disease “run its course,” especially with such prodding. So he went along with “two weeks to flatten the curve” lockdowns, which stretched into months. By the summer of 2020, Trump realized the cure was worse than the disease, and began urging governors to open up. Remember he had delegated that authority to them. Unfortunately, few did and DemoKKKrat governors relished in their tyrannical power to shut down small businesses run by people who typically voted against them.
The lockdowns greatly angered a major portion of Trump’s base, many of whom still hold them against him. But this is where the DemoKKKrats self-immolated.
Joe Biden, the Rutabaga, came into office with a golden opportunity to fragment the MAGA alliance by peeling off those already angry with Trump. Instead he rode the China Virus fear mongering, and the vax, for all it was worth. Instead of further opening America, the Rutabaga continued the oppressive policies including masks and mandatory vax programs as much as he could. Even to date, after declaring the China Virus over, the Rutabaga has yet to actually rescind many government mandates.
Why? It’s simple. To paraphrase Ann Richards of Texas, “Dey jes kain’t hep it.” DemoKKKrats are so wedded to power, so enamored of top-down control, that it never even crossed their minds to be liberators. Instead, they ran with two years’ worth of useless and impotent congressional investigations while Trump has slightly edged away from his own policies by insisting he opposed mandates even as he supported the vax itself. Some argue it is not in Trump’s nature to completely deliver a mea culpa on the efficacy and safety of the vax, but I hold out hope. At any rate, the DemoKKKrats’ chances of making a small but critical inroad into the MAGA base vanished.

A slightly different story regarding the China Virus and human responses to it comes from a rather odd source, PawPrint, a magazine about dogs with a special issue called “A Dog’s Brain.” In an article called “The Kindness of Canines” by Emily Joshu, research on pack animals like dogs shows that they react together, and that those around them pick up on the emotions and absorb it. If a dog flees, others will follow suit. An article in Frontiers in Psychology examined this “emotional contagion” insofar as it related to the China Virus pandemic and found that among 600 college students, “individuals with greater levels of susceptibility to emotion contagion had greater levels of anxiety about [the China Virus], more depression, anxiety, and stress, and greater OCD symptoms.” In other words, among those who take their cues from the herd, they are more likely to be panicked whether the panic is legitimate or not. This affirms the common sense view that if you are getting your news from the Hoax News media, especially if you are getting news from no other source, you will be far more susceptible to panic when the news tells you that “everybody else is panicking!”
For this reason I urge everyone to avoid the temptation to even do “opposition research” by visiting such patently evil sites as DrudgeReport or watching MSNBC. As the great Rush Limbaugh used to say, I don’t need to watch MSNBC to know what they are going to say: 99 times out of 100 take common sense, then do the opposite.
This research also suggests, though, that once in “stampede” mode, it’s almost impossible to stop the herd or turn it around. The best you can do is not join it until it either exhausts itself or runs off the cliff.

I am sure I saw Trump on TV making the comment about ensuring the cure was not worse than the disease before Easter in 2020. He seemed to backslide a bit after that, but came back to that view later in the summer.
Fantastic analysis Larry. Interesting commentary about animal herd behavior. Always believed that Demokkrats have a herd mentality and vote party first above country even if it takes them over the cliff. Expect lots of them jumping over the cliff after the midterm red wave.
