Biteme, Energy, and Iran

or, why the Rutabaga will not cut off Russia's energy imports

During the entire Ukraine invasion, as nation after nation issues its statements of outrage and levels sanctions that may or may not achieve the desired result, one notable exception has stood out. The United States, under the Demented Pervert, continues to ship gas to Russia.

Most pundits, especially on the conservative side, argue that this would more than any other sanction actually put a crunch in Russia’s ability to fund its invasion. Yet nothing has stopped Biteme from shipping more. Why?

Look no further than Today's News, where the Rutabaga is looking to re-institute the Iran deal incoherently instituted by Zero when he was president. It goes further. Biteme wants to give the Iranians (or “Ukrainians,” depending on Biteme’s mental acuity at the moment) $ 11 billion with a b in exchange for four hostages. That in and of itself is outrageous: a similar action almost got President Ronald Reagan impeached.

But it’s far worse. To pull this deal off, Biteme needs the help of a certain foreign nation, an ally of Iran. Three guesses as to who that ally is.

At the very moment the Rutabaga is threatening the Russkies with all sorts of unstated sanctions (and even hints at nuclear war by telling Americans to social distance in their bomb shelters), he is working with the Russians and in the process reopen the Iranian nuke program.

As many others have noted, the entire process of simultaneously driving up oil prices with various sanctions while blocking domestic drilling in ANWAR, halting the Keystone Pipeline, preventing new offshore drilling, and implementing goofball green policies that prevent American energy independence.

The problem is becoming obvious, even to stiff-necked EuroGreenies, where in Germany, the government has announced an abrupt about face to refurbish some nuke plants to refurbish some nuke plants in the wake of a, to quote the Rutabaga, “cold dark winter.” When the Germans have done an about-face, you know times are perilous.

Today Brent crude hit $119 a barrel. Already some are predicting gas prices will increase $.30 to $.40 a gallon by the summer. There is only one policy the Demented Pervert and his goblin allies could pursue that would bring this down anywhere near time for the election: unleash American energy production. But, of course, that’s the one thing they will not do.

And it will ensure not just a GOP victory, but a landslide of epic proportions.

But they aren’t done. Now the Biteme administration is seeking to impose sanctions on . . . India? The evil of this current crop in D.C. is beyond imagination. No one can possibly make this many mistakes.

It’s all on purpose. And beginning in November 2022 we must make them pay, but it’s not enough to throw them out of office. They must, yes, be pursued legally for their crimes. I know many on our side don’t like this kind of talk, but it’s long overdue. It should have been done after the Civil War, when the military arm of the DemoKKKrat Party, the Ku Klux Klan, alone should have caused the federal government to ban the party just as the Germans did with the Nazi party after World War II. Do not leave the task unfinished this time.
