Probably the most common comment I hear or read from conservatives is that despite terrific polling and despite issue trends being 100% against DemoKKKrats this cycle, “the DemoKKKrats will steal the election.”
As the great Thomas Sowell once said, “I don’t have faith in the market. I have evidence about the market.” So it is with politics. I don’t have faith the DemoKKKrats will fail, but I do have evidence.
2020 was a one-time thing because it was a) a surprise, b) in the middle of the China Virus, c) with an unpopular candidate. 2022 will not be a surprise to anyone: Republicans have actually enacted voter integrity laws, recruited poll watchers, prepared lawyers, and done many—-if not most—-of the things they should have done in 2020.
2. The China Virus will not be in play. “But . . . but . . . they’re release another China Virus.” Won’t matter if they release leprosy. Americans will not go back to another lockdown/maskiephied situation. Some CEOS tacitly went along with the maskie/vax rules out of fear the gubment would ruin them. Now, having nearly been ruined, they have no incentive to tag along with Dr. Fallacy and the Fear Fuhrer Brigade. But also, to be effective, a new China Virus would have to be much deadlier than the first, and this risks taking out the ruling elites this time—-when even their own private stocks of ivermectin and HCQ won’t save them. The downside is way too high, the downside way too low.
3. In 2020, Americans did what Americans often do. They ignored the fraud. They did this because (rationalizing that Trump could have done something about the China Virus) many blamed Trump; the economy went into the crapper; and Trump himself had never gotten his favorables above his unfaborables, let alone in the Reagan/Clinton/Obama range.
It would have been darn near impossible to pull of the DemoKKKRat Steal against someone with, say, Reagan’s or Obama’s level of popularity. Suddenly the clamor from the MAGA side would have been magnified and swollen by “middle America,” and actual, real investigations would have followed. But it was easy for many Americans to say, “Trump deserved it” and pretend it didn’t happen.
Thomas Jefferson wrote in the Declaration that “all experience hath shewn that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed.” Winston Churchill echoed that saying “The Americans can be counted on to do the right thing after they’ve exhausted all other options.” In this case, Americans strongly suspected there was fraud, as seen in post-2020 polling, but in essence said, “Don’t let it happen again.” This is a common response. New Yorkers in the 1850s put up with a grossly corrupt Tweed Ring until finally, as Cousin Eddie said in “Christmas Vacation,” “Shitter’s full.”
4. Many states and localities have steadily enacted voter integrity laws. We’ll see how effective they are, but the bottom line is that there are more now than in 2020.
5. The election landscape is not just “slightly” in the Republicans’ favor. It’s overwhelmingly so. According to the latest NPR/Marist poll on issues Republicans hold a whopping 16-point lead on the economy, 21-point lead on crime and inflation, and 19 on national security. The DemoKKKrats are in the 20s on every issue. These are wipeout numbers. Darn near impossible to hoax up an election when everyone knows it’s not even close. As Baris says, “These numbers are brutal for Democrats. Can't stress enough how numbers like these often matter more than toplines at this point in the cycle.”
6. By contrast, in 2020 Donald Trump didn’t lead in a single national election poll. He led or was tied in only a couple of polls for the electoral college. Today, Trump is ahead in 90% of the national polls, and usually by 3-4 points over the Rutabaga, more over Kampuchea Harris. This translates into a 2024 electoral college victory of 350 or more. But the point is, even if you—-as do I—-doubt polling, it does suggest if all the polling (including Richard Baris’s) is in one direction, it may be saying something. It also suggests that no one would go along with another midnight steal.
7. Pocketbook issues dominate. One reason Trump’s election was close enough to steal was that the China Virus lockdowns and unemployment had ravaged the economy, and even if the public liked Trump, “it’s the economy stupid.” Only Zero escaped this maxim, but did so because the economy was only moderately bad, not Total Suck as it is today. It is also abundantly clear that people do indeed blame Biteme and the DemoKKKrats for high gas, food shortages, rising rents, and supply chain issues, despite the administration’s pathetic efforts to blame Vladimir Putin.
8. This is the clincher: 2020 is about not just pocketbook issues for the great unwashed middle, but about social issues too. Virginia’s election of Glenn Youngkin and the very close race in New Jersey proved this. Largely a-political parents who pay little attention to daily political narratives came out in droves when policies affecting their kids were at work. According to a post-election analysis with Glenn Youngkin’s strategists, they painted the DemoKKKrats as the revolutionaries, talking past the people. As one strategist said, it certainly didn’t help DemoKKKrats when they said “parents shouldn’t be involved in their children’s education. And so these — “critical race theory,” or pick your poison — all the issues we ran on play into an actual daily voter’s life.” The entire groomer issue is tilting massively against the Disneys out there. One recent poll showed 70% agreed with Florida’s anti-groomer laws.
9. This brings up one last point: sooner or later the corporations merely to survive will have to back off the whackadoodle leftist homosexual rights agenda. The Disney fiasco, with the company losing $34 billion since it began fighting the anti-groomer law, is just the tip of the iceberg. Victor Davis Hanson has argued a great reset is indeed coming but not the one the globalists and DemoKKKrats expect. Corporate ability to support and backstop DemoKKKrats may not end, but it will surely take a major body blow.
10. Finally, the unlikeability and public disdain for the Demented Pervert in the White House is at Nixonesque levels. Several polls have him in the mid-30s. He stabilizes for a few days, then slips some more. At this rate he’ll be in the low 30s by November, in the low 20s by election day 2024. And he is chained at the waist to the DemoKKKrat Party. They couldn’t escape him with lockpicks, keys, and a reincarnated Harry Houdini.
So my conclusion is that while certainly both 2016 and 2020 taught us anything is possible, we have to work with the evidence we have. Yes, DemoKKKrats will try to cheat. Yes, the Hoax News media will be as biased as ever. I don’t see it working this time, and quite the contrary, I think if the DemoKKKrats try it again, it will backfire to the degree no one yet even fathoms. When Steve Bannon says we have a “once-in-a-generation” opportunity to eradicate the DemoKKKrat Party, he’s not too far off. But it will require their cooperation—-which so far they’ve been all too happy to provide.

I pray you are correct! One thing you can be sure of is the Dimocrats have no common sense or insight. They ALWAYS GO TO FAR and destroy themselves in the process. They’re doing that’s right now!
